Instructions to Authors

Authors are invited to contribute for this conference in lecture or poster format in all areas consistent with the conference themes. A contributed lecture involves a 15 minutes oral presentation, with additional 5 minutes for discussion.

This conference places special emphasis on posters, and contributions in form of posters are strongly encouraged.

Abstracts

Each contributor, either lecture or poster, must submit a title and an extended abstract not exceeding one page in length. Also, authors' names as well as names and addresses of institutions the authors come from should be given.

Please submit your abstracts by e-mail to koi08@efpu.hr. The deadline for submission of abstracts is July 15, 2008.

Papers

Authors who wish to have their paper published in the conference proceedings should submit three single-sided copies of the paper (written in English) related to any section of the conference until September 26, 2008.

Invited papers and original contributed papers reviewed and accepted by two independent reviewers will be published in the conference proceedings.

The manuscript, not longer than ten A4-pages, should be sent to the conference mail address (see below). The first page should contain the article title, author's and coauthors' names and affiliation, proposed running head (not more than 50 characters including spaces), an abstract (not more than ten lines) and a list of keywords.

Upon acceptance of the paper, authors should submit their standard LaTeX file prepared using the article class. Illustrative material (figures) should be included as PostScript or Encapsulated PostScript exclusively. All corresponding files should be "zipped" (collected into a single archive file) and the file, named in the form <MAIN_AUTHOR>.zip, should be sent by e-mail to koi08@efpu.hr.

The authors will jointly receive ten offprints free of charge.
